Glen Burnie High School last night honored eight of its outstanding graduates at the unveiling of the school's new Wall of Honor in the lobby of the media center.

The honorees included community activists, doctors, a firefighter and an author. They were chosen for their achievements and contributions in the community and the world at large.

"When I look at these people, they're shining examples of what's good and great that comes out of this building every day," said Vickie Plitt, principal of the school at 7550 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.

The wall is in a building that most of the student body passes through each day....
