Dorothy Bennett

Dorothy Ruth Bennett, 79, of Glen Burnie, previously of Stevensville, died Nov. 8 of cancer.

She was born Jan. 25, 1929 in Baltimore. She graduated in 1947 from Jane Addams General Vocational School of Baltimore.

She worked 15 years as a seamstress and cashier for Montgomery Ward.

She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, raising her children, camping and fishing with her friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Gordon C. Bennett and one son Clarence G. Bennett.
