Brent Hardesty has vivid memories of growing up in Glen Burnie.

Those memories were so vivid that they inspired the Perry Hall man to write "Christmas in Glen Burnie," a playful song that debuted a few years ago about the sites around the community during the holidays. This year, it is being released on CD and download for the first time.

"It's basically about a couple who are looking for something to do during the Christmas holidays, and they've seen it all," Mr. Hardesty said. "This year they wanna do something special so they get in the car and take a little excursion over to Glen Burnie where they grew up."
