What will the deductible for Medicare Part D plans be for 2009? I don't qualify for extra help and my plan has a deductible. According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the maximum amount that any Part D plan can set as a deductible in 2009 is $295. This means that members of the plan pay for the first $295 worth of prescription drugs purchased through the plan before the plan begins to help pay for prescriptions. I think I am paying too much for my Medicare Part B premium. Is there any way I can check to see if I really should have this much deducted each month? My income went down considerably last...
