Purse snatching

A woman was robbed in the parking lot of a grocery store early Monday morning, county police said.

At 12:15 a.m. while she loaded her purchases into her car outside Shoppers Food Warehouse at 5722 Ritchie Highway, a man walked up from behind and grabbed the purse on her arm.

As the man yanked, she fell to the ground, and her right shoulder was injured, police said. The man got the purse and ran. She was taken by ambulance to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie for treatment.
