They're not the oldest band - or the best-known - but Brightview Avenue still had what it took Saturday night to grab top honors at the county's 11th annual Battle of the Bands at Maryland Hall. "We were not expecting this," said Chris Jackson, one of two guitarists for the Archbishop Spalding five-some. "We just formed Brightview Avenue a couple of months ago."
