Stephen Beiber, a student from Southgate Elementary School, was one of the 14 final contestants in the countywide Multi-Cultural History Bee at Annapolis High School.

Joining Stephen on the Southgate team were Austin Cheney, Devin Hill, Ashley McMahon and Rose Stevens.

The bee was open to students in fourth- through eighth-grade attending county public schools.
