In some ways, fish are like fishermen. When they realize they can't do anything about the weather they make do with what they have. Despite the recent chilly nights and cool waters, marked improvement is noted in the catching of both white perch and striped bass. The yellow ned run is pretty much history following a nice rebound in some waters including the Patuxent River; the first hickory shad are moving into the Susquehanna River - and crappies are getting hungry in reservoirs and rivers.
