If you have been diagnosed with a small kidney mass, most likely your doctor has told you that it is kidney cancer. In its early stages, kidney cancer often does not produce signs or symptoms. In most instances, small kidney cancers are found incidentally by radiographic imaging. Patients are frequently surprised or shocked by the diagnosis because they feel good and have no symptoms.
