General Federation of Women's Clubs Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights held its annual Youth Writing and Arts Awards ceremony and reception April 15 at its clubhouse.

Over 100 people attended, including the award recipients, parents and teachers of local schools.

Many stories and works of art went on to be judged at district and state levels.

Awards were given out by Bernadette Simon, president, and Kathy Saubles, youth art chairman.
