Fire damages group home PASADENA - A fire displaced four residents and three staff members of a Greenhaven assisted living home yesterday, county fire officials said. Lt. Stuart Peters, spokesman for the county Fire D partment, said the fire broke out just before 4 p.m. at the one-story home in the 8000 block of Catherine Avenue. The home is owned by Rose Garden Cottages, Inc., a private company that provides housing for senior citizens. It took 49 firefighters about a half hour to extinguish the two-alarm blaze, Peters said.
