Some might call an eBay store an oxymoron. They may wonder why a business where people can drop off items to be sold on the popular Internet auction site would require a brick-and-mortar storehouse for the middleman to do their work. But moviegoers who have seen "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" are familiar with the idea. In the comedy, love interest Trish owns a small business, We Sell Your Stuff on eBay, in a strip mall where confused customers harass her with questions of why they can't just buy the items in the store.
