A key government agency moving its headquarters from Northern Virginia to Anne Arundel County is stepping up recruitment efforts to attract and retain qualified employees in the midst of a recession.

As the Defense Information Systems Agency relocates employees to Fort George G. Meade in phases starting in October 2010, officials said they are increasing programs to scoop up new talent in Maryland.

Next month, DISA will hold a job fair at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Howard County that is expected to attract 3,000 or more people.
