County police have arrested a Baltimore County man in connection with at least two home invasions in Brooklyn Park over the last six months.

Kirk William Smith Jr., 32, was arrested last week after police raided his home in the 1700 block of Hall Avenue in Halethorpe.

He was charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary, first-degree assault and false imprisonment for invading two different homes on Panorama Way in October and in March, police said.

Brooklyn Park and Severn have been hit with 14 home invasions over the last seven months. Smith is the sixth person to be arrested for these incidents.
