What with all the rain in recent days more than a few anglers must have given some thought to trading in their fishing craft for an ark. Hopefully, the weekend will bring some sunshine to make things more dry and comfortable, but please no return of hot weather for a while yet. Most of the stripers in Maryland's share of the Chesapeake have already spawned and many are gone, but the cooler things are the longer the late spawners will be available.
