The Ferndale Linthicum Area Community Council recently named Ben Olsen as its Citizen of the Year.

Olsen has been a resident of the Arundel Hills neighborhood for the past 30 years with his wife Vicki. Olsen is the father of three children.

FLACC honored him with the award for his longtime commitment to its annual Ferndale Day celebration.
