A pregnant Glen Burnie teen and her friend are recovering after being hit by a car Saturday night in Crownsville.

Police said Karla Wagner, 23, of Severn was driving west on Evergreen Road in her 1999 Jeep at 9:26 p.m. when she left the road and hit two people who were walking on the shoulder in the grass near Oak View Drive, county police said.

The pedestrians, a 17-year-old girl from Crownsville and 19-year-old Melissa L. Truelove from Glen Burnie, were both taken to the hospital, police said.

Police do not release the names of juveniles involved in accidents.
