The North County High School Class of 2009 marched across the stage at Towson University yesterday morning to receive their high school diplomas. There were 396 graduates.

Kerri Morrison was the class valedictorian.

Morrison talked about the future and what she wants the Class of 2009 to take with them as they graduate.

A member of the school's National Honor Society, literary magazine staff and the school's environmental club, she plans to study environmental science at McDaniel College in Westminster in the fall on a full scholarship.
