Pedestrian struck

A 70-year-old man was hit by a car Thursday night in Pasadena, county Fire Department officials said.

Firefighters were called to Ritchie Highway and Jumpers Hole Road at 9:56 p.m. They found the man suffering from life-threatening injuries and rushed him by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, officials said.

Someone jumped into a 63-year-old man's car outside a grocery store on Reece Road Sunday, then pistol-whipped and robbed him, county police said.
