Teen violence

This is concerning the 14-year-old boy who was beaten to death in Crofton (Maryland Gazette, June 3).

It's time for us Americans to arm ourselves. The government has failed us, politicians have failed us, law enforcement has failed us and lawyers and judges have failed us.

There are a lot of animals loose in our way-too-free society. If nobody else can or wants to protect us, we need to protect ourselves.
