CRAB CLAW CLASSIC: High school players graduting in '09, '10. '11 and who have an interest in playing college baseball should reserve their spots in the sixth annual Mid-Atlantic High School Baseball Classic. EAGLES: The Pasadena Eagles 10U travel baseball team is looking to add 1-2 competitive and dedicated players to their 2008 roster. The players will be joining a very successful Eagles team competing in the Baltimore Metro Baseball League. In addition to league play, the Eagles will be looking to defend their Maryland State Championship crown over Memorial Day weekend, as well as their BPA Regional Crown. SUMMER CAMPS: The Frozen Ropes Baseball and Softball Training Center is now accepting registrations for its 2008 summer baseball and softball camps. CHALLENGER: Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks' Challenger Baseball program will run from early April through July. It is an adaptive coed baseball program for ages 5-21 of all abilities to learn basic skills, sportsmanship and rules of baseball. This program is designed to give athletes with cognitive and physical disabilities the opportunity to play ball and have fun. Wheelchairs welcome. Volunteers and parents are encouraged to assist. NAVY CAMPS: Navy will be hosting two basketball camps this summer. The boys basketball camp is for boys ages 8-18, and will take place June 23-27 and August 4-8. JPYO: Jessup Provinces Youth Organization announces our spring soccer training program for kids ages 4 and up. Training will be provided by experienced coaches, including a retired professional soccer player with an international coaching license. Participants will advance their skill levels greatly in a short time span. Four and five year olds will train at Jessup Elementary School gym on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. Kids 6 and up will train at Meade Middle School auxiliary gym on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. This is a six week program and the fee will be $40 for one person and $10 off for each additional child from the same family.
