| | Glen Burnie business owner dies from injuries in Monday accident

The owner of a Glen Burnie manufacturing firm died Wednesday of injuries sustained in a wreck on Monday. Edward Paquette, 58, of Severna Park, was involved in a head-on crash on Ritchie Highway near College Parkway on Monday morning, was pronounced dead at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore about 6:30 p.m., county police said. In the early 1990's, Mr. Paquette started Refractory Composites Inc. in Glen Burnie, a manufacturer of ceramic and metallic high temperature coating systems.
