Brooklyn Park: Woman loves life at nearly 105 years old

Whether running her liquor store on Pennington Avenue or selling dolls out of her bedroom at Genesis HealthCare Center on Hammonds Lane, Victoria Sosnowski has been a businesswoman most of her life.

About to turn 105 years old on Oct. 8, the lifelong area resident isn't slowing down anytime soon. She plans to celebrate at a party Sunday with her family and friends.

The center's staff had to tell Mrs. Sosnowski about the party because "you can't pull anything over on her," said Vicki Love-Davis, the center's activity director.
