St. Mary's nips Severn, 1-0

After nearly 50 minutes of scoreless field hockey, something had to give.

Chelsea Rowe broke the tie late in the second half, and St. Mary's defense held off Severn for a 1-0 victory on the Admirals' new turf.

Rowe caught Ali Hoffman's rebound off Severn goalkeeper Catie Kinlein's leg and stuffed the ball into the far, right side of the cage with 10 minutes, 24 seconds left.
